Launching a pioneering healthcare centre built to connect and inspire.
Visionable Global & Verizon, 2022
About Visionable
Visionable’s video collaboration platform empowers healthcare and emergency services teams around the world to deliver the best possible care, anytime, anywhere.
The brief
Joining Verizon’s 5G innovation hub program
Visionable teamed up with Verizon to build a pioneering Connected Healthcare Centre (CHC) at its HQ in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The centre was designed to showcase next-generation healthcare developments and included a range of full-size, interactive dioramas. It provided a space to connect healthcare professionals, providers and technology companies to inspire future innovations for patient care.
It was my responsibility:
To lead the visual direction of the centre from Visionable’s side
To collaborate with the business and marketing teams at Verizon to ensure that the wider campaign captured attention and intent from leading healthcare decision-makers
Process & research
Stroke as the story
We focused on a single clinical diagnosis (stroke) to demonstrate the patient’s pathway from an incident at home, through to discharge from hospital
Key to this was storytelling, and by extension creating an emotional impact on the attendees
The launch event would feature a combination of real-life stories and discussions with a stroke survivor, and Jenny Clarke MBE, of the brain injury charity SameYou, as well as fictional patients and healthcare providers
Other key considerations
As with any event, a myriad of additional assets would need to be produced ahead of the launch:
A digital campaign to spark conversation and capture attendees for the launch and beyond
Printed material for the centre and the launch
Branded merchandise for attendees to take away
Solution & impact
Telling the story
Simple signage was essential for telling Ahmed’s story in a clear, consistent way, and directing attendees throughout the space. A mixture of digital and print signage provides a snapshot of each setting, a key character in the patient journey, and their most pressing needs.
Inspiring interest with a digital campaign
The final co-branded lockup demonstrated a strong partnership; enhancing interest in the upcoming launch through a globally recognised technology brand.
The most visited Visionable landing page in Q2 2022
Social media assets, Google ads, marketing emails and PDF invitations incorporated the powerful co-branded identity and teaser images of the centre, and directed traffic to a dedicated campaign landing page – the most visited on the Visionable website (aside from the homepage) in Q2 2022.
40+ esteemed guests
As a result of the digital campaign and private invitations, we secured over 40 esteemed guests for the launch event, including senior NHS leaders, decision-makers from Bupa and Redmoor Health, as well as professionals from Verizon, Deloitte, PwC and Capgemini.
Collaborating with video and VR specialists
We worked with a videographer to produce both a pre-event teaser video and long form post-event brand video to build excitement for the launch. These were shared on social media, the centre’s landing page and at press events.
Also involved in the digital campaign was VR specialist Matterport, creating an immersive virtual tour of the centre.
Keeping Visionable at front of mind with memorable print collateral
Takeaway packs for attendees included a slick co-branded folder containing essential product leaflets and Visionable business card
A select range of Visionable branded merchandise (notebooks, pens and bags) was also produced for attendees to take home
Outdoor a-boards, temporary posters and a co-branded ceremonial ribbon completed the final touches for the launch event
I was responsible for print and digital signage, print collateral, and static digital campaign assets featured in this project. Brand videos created by an independent videographer. Venue set up and layout led by Verizon Business.
“Lizzy doesn’t just have incredible technical skills, but her ability to communicate and collaborate is second to none.
I truly loved working with Lizzy not just because she is talented, but also because she’s a great team player. Anyone would be lucky to have her on their team.”
